The perfect weekend escape! From the warm, attentive hosting to the exceptional accommodation, everything exceeded my expectations. I truly appreciated the thoughtful touches that cater specifically to women’s comfort and convenience — it made the experience feel even more special.

IMPORTANT: Google maps is WRONG - there is another Impala just down the road, that is the correct location. Impala was excellent value self contained apartment for a long stay, very good access to quiet Trou aux Bich (quiet private) and Mon Choisy (vibrant and busy), bus to best supermarket in whole country Super U Grand Baie, Paul's bakery, is 30MUR and comes often. 3km further is Peryberye which has a nice vibe mix of locals tourists. Express bus to Port Louis also. Very good wifi for work from home, full kitchen facilities, plentiful space to do workout at home and an outdoor fitness calisthenics station just a quick jog to Mon Choisy. Warm honest hosts Renuka Ashok who provide a lovely simple breakfast every day (we supplement with our own meats cheese jams etc from Super U), regular cleaning and linens change. They have a lovely tubby fat black labrador Shiva ? who is friendly and not intimidating to non dog lovers. Be careful what reviews you read - sadly the negative reviews here are wide off the mark and due to the mismatched expectations of clueless visitors who seem to want a private all inclusive resort for €30/night and complaining about lack of pool and sea view... It speaks directly to the naivety and cluelessness of the complaining guests rather than any issues with this accomodation.
