A secluded place where sometimes a walker gets lost The lantern is no longer a place where the lanternist lives, but the light works automatically, but that is why it is possible to rent this place in the summer as a place to relax, where most days you have privacy either in the house or on the beach (except when a curious walker comes to see the beautiful scenery). Next to the lantern is the church of St. Nicholas, which used to be the first lantern but was converted into an auxiliary building with the aim of devaluing the sacred building. In the 90s it was renovated again and got a distaff with a bell. In the 30s there were 2 lanterns for a while, I have a few pictures from that time in my archive, it was the time when the new lantern was built and the old one in the church of St. Nicholas was still in place. The building was the same size as the church today, but it had a rectangular elevation in the middle with a dome on which the light was turned on (similar to the dome of the lighthouse at the entrance to Postira).

Sehr netter umkomplizierte Vermieter. Kommunikation gut auf English und über Whats App. Wunderschönes großes Grundstück mit Meerblick, ideal für unseren Hund. Man läuft ca 1km zum Meer durch das schöne kleine Dorf, wo es einen kleinen Supermarkt und einen kleinen Bäckerstand gibt. Am Meer gibt es ein Restaurant und eine kleine süße Beachbar. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden was man braucht und falls noch was fehlt einfach Vermieter bescheid sagen. Es ist alles klein aber völlig ausreichend für uns.Pool wird alle 3-4Tage sauber gemacht. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir würden jederzeit wieder auf die wunderschöne Insel Brac kommen.
