Amazing food experience! We both had the menu for 85 Euro per person with sevencourses plus two desserts, so nine courses in total. It was described to us as "more creative" and it really was! Some of our personal highlights included a pumpkin ice cream with fried sage as appetizer, grilled quail with shiitake and corn plus an amazing sauce, a grilled brioche with duck ham and truffle sauce and port wine sauce and the chocolate mousse with coffee ice cream and banana bread on passion fruit. All courses were explained to us and you could really taste the craft behind coming up with such an interesting meal as well as cooking it with skill. Every meal had a complexity in its taste and multiple layers which you could explore bit by bit while eating. When reading the menu, we did bot think that we would like one of the courses that much because of squid as an ingredient and they were happy to switch it out for us and suggested an alternative. It seemed like they don't usually do this because of the effort it takes, which makes sense, but if you really don't like something it most likely won't be an issue. Also, we were surprised how good everything tasted even though we were not sure about some of the courses before. So I suggest to give it a go and let yourself be surprised - maybe, like us, you'll find out that you like something that you would not have expected. We really trusted the process and the experience of the chefs behind every meal and for us it was the right way to go. Since my partner did not drink this evening, I ordered two separate glasses of wine - one white and one red. I asked for a recommendation for each one without looking at the wine menu and the waiter suggested two amazing wines! Both fit the menu very well and enhanced the whole experience. It was a real treat to experience this menu and we definitely recommend it for a special evening! Three more remarks: 1) I would highly recommend to book a table in advance (we did it two weeks in advance). 2) They also offered an all-vegetarian menu with five courses for 55 Euro. 3) The whole dinner lasted more than three hours for us, so it's really an event for the whole evening, if you plan to go with a bigger menu. All in all, we highly recommend coming here for a remarkable dinner experience.
