This is a fantastic place to get informed about the history of Austrian painter and artist Gustav Klimt, focusing on his life-period spent at lake Attersee. The space is well-designed and displays original works, together with detailed and structured informations on local life at Klimt's time. The temporary exhibit currently shows original drawings by Gustav Klimt as well as works by his contemporary, Franz von Zülow. Another contemporary local artist Heinz Kasper, has contributed a video installation. Highly recommend a visit to anyone interested in the arts and culture with a focus on this region.

Great holiday apartment. With a great view of Lake Attersee. This is our second time here and we love the surroundings. The landlords are really nice and really hard working.
