Beautiful and comfortable villa with amazing roof terrace where you can watch the sunset with a glass of wine. And lovely garden with pool and grassy area. Get the bus easily from the village into Rethymno where the old town is full of restaurants. The village of Prines (a few minutes walk) has 3 tavernas and a small shop. Axel was a great host and the Tavernas in the village were all very friendly. The Veranda was our favourite. We would definitely recommend Villa Olympia. Nicky And Mark June 2025

Arriving at Spilia, you see a landscape with great picturesqueness! All the accommodations are houses of the then medieval settlement! It seems that the current owners restored them with a lot of effort, love and care, respecting the history of the place! I have no words for their hospitality! We enjoyed every moment, from the very quiet evenings we sat in the little theater they have built with their own hands, observing all the stars in the sky, to the mornings in the stone-built gazebo Our room smelled of cleanliness, it was very neat, with unique qualities in every corner, which testify to the life of the people of that time!
