We've stayed at the Karglhof on the beautiful Lake Faak several times now, and every time it's been a perfect vacation! ? The well-maintained holiday apartments and the lovingly landscaped outdoor areas immediately exude a feel-good atmosphere. The private beach, connected to a restroom building, is a dream—ideal for swimming, SUPing, or simply relaxing. The morning bread delivery service and the warm hospitality of the Kargl family, who always make us feel welcome, are particularly nice. Whether swimming, hiking, or biking, everyone will find the perfect combination of relaxation and activity here. The Karglhof is a true paradise for families, with numerous play options ensuring children's eyes light up. For us, the Karglhof is the epitome of vacation. Our family of four had the opportunity to stay in this wonderful designer apartment with panoramic lake view, terrace and shared garden, and we really enjoyed our time. The small 2-story building has a few other apartments, as well as a shared laundry room with washer and dryer, and a game room with ping-pong table. The mattresses are very comfortable, probably the most comfortable we slept on during our month-long trip to Europe. However, I would highly recommend a pillow upgrade, as those are not comfortable at all. The kitchen is well equipped and a coffee machine with some pods are provided too, but it was lacking cooking essentials such as oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar... These items are always desirable in short-term, vacation rentals and would help improve the customer's experience. A free, city-managed beach can be reached with a short 7-minutes walk, and there are coffee shops and eateries just across the street from the apartment. Stefan, the manager, was very kind and always available during our stay, he even allowed us a late check out so we could enjoy our last day at the lake! Overall, Apart Faaker See in Drobollach is an amazing accommodation and we highly recommend it.
