Die Küstenstadt Cadzand besteht eigentlich aus zwei Dörfern: Cadzand-Bad und Cadzand-Dorp.
Der Küstenort Cadzand-Bad ist zusammen mit Domburg der einzige niederländische Badeort, der die Bezeichnung Heilzame Zeebadplaats tragen darf, weil er die Qualitätskriterien des Europäischen Heilbäderverbandes für Thalassotherapie erfüllt.
In Cadzand-Dorp finden Sie eine gotische Marienkirche aus dem frühen 14. Außerdem besitzt das Dorf die Mühle „Nooitgedacht“: eine Mühle aus dem Jahr 1898, die 1977 vollständig restauriert wurde. Ein schönes Dorf, das zu einem Spaziergang einlädt.

An der Küste von Zeeland, in der Nähe von Cadzand und 20 Autominuten von Knokke entfernt, liegt der neue Park De Boshoeve Nieuwvliet-Bad. In weniger als 10 Minuten zu Fuß sind Sie an der Küste, wo Sie alle Arten von gemütlichen Restaurants und Bars finden. Der Park ist auch ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen oder Radtouren in der Umgebung.

Looking for a weekend away? Roompot Beach Resort Nieuwvliet-Bad is an attractive holiday park located on the Zeeland coast in the Netherlands, near the Belgian border. The park offers various accommodations, ranging from charming cottages with thatched roofs to modern beach lodges with verandas and spacious villas equipped with three bedrooms and an infrared sauna. A wooden boardwalk leads directly from the park to the wide beach, where the shallow water is ideal for families with young children.
One of the highlights of the resort is the indoor subtropical swimming pool of over 400 m². The recreational pool has a rapid and three slides. Hours of water fun guaranteed for all ages. For the youngest guests there is a special toddler pool with a small slide and a spray park. Parents can relax on the sunbeds around the swimming paradise.
In the culinary field, guests can visit the Foodies restaurant, centrally located in the park. The restaurant offers a varied menu with both local and international dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients. It is also the perfect location for an aperitif and drinks platter by the fireplace. great location, really nice bungalow, modern, useful, very good kitchen and stuff, friedly staff, lots of things to do and explore, strong focus on good materials and sustanability, lots of e-charging stations for the e-cars, own small electric laundry trucks, excellent food, nice supermarket but with high prices, many many playgrounds, thats super!
All very clean and tidy.
We really enjoyed the stay there and will reommend it.
small improvements could be:
- water temperature at swimming pool okay (please make it a bit warmer! esp. for babies)
- noise level of koos entertainment (which was generally nice)
- a bit broader beds (ca. 70cm is very small for an adult / grown up child)
